JJ is a Senior Data Scientist at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF). He is responsible for defining and implementing social media measurement strategies and business intelligence analytics that align with HSF’s marketing and business objectives. Specifically his work includes performing qualitative and quantitative analysis on conversion optimization with the aim of improving efficiency in HSF’s digital marketing strategies and increasing ROI, fundraising goals, registrations, and social media reach.
Prior to joining HSF, JJ worked as a Senior Analyst at the Walt Disney Company in the Corporate Brand Management department. In the past JJ has also worked as an analyst in the economic consulting, retail, and in the financial services industries. JJ earned his Master’s degree in economics with an emphasis in econometrics from the California State University, Fullerton and dual Bachelor’s degrees in mathematics/applied science and economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also obtained Associate’s degrees in business administration, economics, and mathematics from Cerritos College.
