Founded in 1993 in response to the crisis in education facing girls from low-income families on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. CCC’s mission is simple – to break the cycle of poverty through education. By giving the girls a scholarship to a school that provides a uniquely effective educational foundation, through our comprehensive middle school program. Continuing strong support through high school, planning for higher education, and vibrant alumnae community, we enable Connelly students to fulfill their potential and achieve productive roles in society. Most are the first in their families to go to college.
