Antonio Rosales is a first generation college student majoring in Political Science with a minor in Education. He intends to further his educational career by attending law school or attending graduate school to one day become a political science or history teacher for high school students. One aspect of college that Antonio admires is the diversity and how he has the opportunity to meet individuals from all over the world. He enjoys learning the various languages from the diverse students on campus and sometimes teaches them Spanish. Rosales first heard about HSF during his sophomore year in high school as he was watching TV through the Univision television network. Support from other scholars of HSF encouraged Antonio to get involved with the fund and assist other students as well. “HSF has given me the opportunity to have access to higher education and has allowed me to pave the way to my siblings and my community as a first generation college student. I have the opportunity to touch and impact a numerous amount of people.
