LOS ANGELES, CA – October 13, 2013 – The Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the nation’s largest non-for-profit supporting Hispanic-American higher education, announced today their VIP guest list for the 13th annual Alumni Hall of Fame Gala. Every year, Hispanic Scholarship Fund gives special recognition to an extraordinary group of individuals who demonstrate – through their achievements, leadership, and excellence – the potential of a college education to transform the lives of students, their families, and their communities.
The night will be kicked off with the vocal talents of Sebastien De La Cruz, best known as El Charro De Oro from America’s Got Talent singing the National Anthem and will end the night with a performance from Latin music superstar Frankie Negrón. The Gala will be co-hosted by actor Adam Rodríguez, and television & online journalist, Carmen Wong Ulrich. Adam is most notably known for his time on the CBS hit drama “CSI Miami” while Carmen is recognized for her contributions on the Dr. Oz Show and her blog on CNBC.com on personal finance.
"I'm thrilled to be co-hosting the 12th Annual Alumni Hall of Fame Awards.” Said Ulrich. “Having hosted now for five years--each better than the previous--I can attest that HSF is an incredible organization filled with opportunity.
