NASA Must Project
The National Aeronautics and Space administration (NASA) funds the Motivating Undergraduates in Science and Technology (MUST) project through a cooperative agreement with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Institute. The MUST Project prepares high achieving undergraduates for the STEM workforce and is the only scholarship program at NASA for underserved and underrepresented students. The project is based around three key programming elements – a scholarship, a paid summer internship at a NASA center and year- round professional and academic support.
National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Leadership Project aims to support underrepresented students in Business, Social Sciences, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Launched in 2011, the NNSA Leadership Project provides participants with scholarships, professional development training, and internships at NNSA headquarters and national laboratories around the country.
NASA One Stop Shopping Initiative (OSSI)
The partnership between NASA’s One Stop Shopping Initiative (OSSI) and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Institute leads a series of student recruitment, retention, and professional development efforts at Hispanic Serving Institutions. OSSI increases awareness of internship, fellowship, and scholarship opportunities offered by NASA at universities across the country, and enables eligible students to easily access and apply to NASA opportunities.
