HSF/ Coca-Cola® Hispanic Heritage Month 2013 Contest and Sweepstakes Scholarship Program

Description

The COCA-COLA® Company and theHispanic Scholarship Fund Contest scholarship awards are designed to assist students with a permanent address in any of the 50 states and Washington, D.C. attending college in 2014-2015 as freshman and 1st year students. The awards are as follows:

        One Grand Prize:     $20,000
        Four 1st Prizes:        $10,000 each
        Sixteen 2nd Prizes:  $2,500 each

Open to the general public of the states listed below.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be of Hispanic heritage
  • All majors are eligible
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident with permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Must have a permanent address in any of the 50 states and Washington, D.C.
  • Must be enrolled as a High School Senior in the fall of 2013
  • Must plan to enroll full-time during the 2014-2015 academic year in a degree-seeking program at a four-year institution as a freshman or a two-year institution as a 1st year student at an accredited U.S. institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam.
  • Must be 16 years of age or older as of September 1, 2013.
  • Must submit a photo with the applicant holding a favorite Coca-Cola beverage. Please upload a maximum photo size of 3MB in JPG format. (Please be sure your photo has no brands or logos (except Coca-Cola) on t-shirts, apparel, in the background on in any part of the photo.)
  • Must submit a signed and completed release form (release form coming soon)
  • Must not be an employee, non-employee worker nor have an immediate family/household member (spouse, parents, siblings and children) be an employee or non-employee worker with any of the following:
    • The Coca-Cola Company
    • Coca-Cola Bottlers
    • ePrize, Inc.
    • and respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents and agencies

Completed submissions will be posted to the Contest Website at www.Coke-HSF.com where applicants, parents, friends, teachers and others may vote for their favorite applicant.
