Espacio USA: Vanguardia Latina

Espacio USA: Vanguardia Latina is a forum for participants to share thoughts, ideas and solutions to strengthen links between future U.S. Latinos and Latin American leaders.

This year’s conference will be held in Los Angeles, CA from May 4 –May 6, 2009.

Student Conference on Latino Affairs (SCOLA)

The theme for this year's conference is “Narrowing the Latino Education Gap: An American Crisis.” Students from across the nation will have the opportunity to listen to and speak with prominent Latino civic, academic, media and business leaders about the growing educational achievement gap in the United States.  This year's SCOLA also includes a career fair with valuable career skill-building workshops.

The conference will take place on April 3-4, 2009 at the Memorial Student Center Complex at Texas A&M University.
