The Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Leaders in Education Awards 2011 luncheon was held on Tuesday, September 13 from 11:30-1:30, at JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE when we recognized Southern Californiastudents, parents, schools teachers and other leaders in Hispanic education.
The event is designed to raise awareness of HSF's work in Southern California and across the nation, and to highlight the contributions leaders in the community make towards education. Attendees included leaders from major corporations, politicians, educators, HSF scholars and alumni & community leaders.
Long-time HSF supporter Toyota was the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s luncheon, and recognized the 2011 HSF Student of the year. HSF's strategic marketing partner and lead event sponsor Coca-Cola presented the Parent of the Year Award. Long-time national partner Wells Fargo presented the School of the Year Award.
