Program Description

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), Procter & Gamble Company and its Orgullosa program have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latino undergraduates pursuing degrees in the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The award amount is $2,500.

Orgullosa is a P&G-owned program that celebrates Latinas, offers them a platform for peer-to-peer interaction, and empowers them to feel confident about their personal appearance, style and homes by offering solutions that satisfy their beauty and household needs through a variety of trusted brands. Eligibility Requirements

• Be of Hispanic heritage 
• Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident or eligible non-U.S. citizen
• Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Must major in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) field
• Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME as an undergraduate in a degree-seeking program at a Four-Year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the 2013-2014 academic year
• Preference given to Pell-eligible students
• Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in 2013
• Must complete P&G Consent Form and submit with application (link is available above)
