I’m the proud daughter of two Argentinean immigrants. I’ve finished my first year at the University of Georgia and I loved every minute of it! I am an International Business and Latin & Caribbean Studies Major.
I work a lot within my community, especially with Latino immigrants. I feel that as long as we can make a difference in one person’s life, that’s one more person who can change the world. We only live once and it’s important to always put yourself out there and network with other people because you never know latter down the road who can serve as a resource. Get involved and make some awesome college memories.
We all know as high school seniors that we worry about getting into a college we want but we’re worried financially as well. It was so gratifying to finally be recognized and compensated for all my hard work in high school. The HSF scholarship gave me the motivation to keep working hard and become a model for other Latino students.
