As a Scholarship Assistant at HSF, Christina Lopez-Gonzalez contacts students and parents to help them navigate the scholarship process.
Ms. Lopez has years of experience working in education and is dedicated helping students achieve their educational dreams. She has previously worked in both public and private education settings, including Green Dot Public Charter Schools and the University of Southern California. At Green dot, she served as Enrollment Associate. At USC, she was an Admissions Processor and Financial Aid Advisor who worked closely with undergraduate and graduate students, providing advice on financial aid, loans, and scholarships.
Ms. Lopez-Gonzalez has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology with a minor in Legal Studies from University of California, Santa Cruz. At UCSC, she was involved in a number of programs, including the American Anthropological Association, UCSC Ambassador, and at the Chicano Latino Resource Center, where she interned and managed events and retention of students of color. As a Fulfillment Fund alumna, she also served as a Fulfillment Fund mentor and provided mentorship workshops in financial aid, academic advising, and college access.
