Full Bio

Isaac Cervantes serves as the Alumni & Mentor Services Coordinator at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF). Working with numerous stakeholders, Mr. Cervantes provides assistance as the HSF Mentor Match program coordinator and as the volunteer and logistics lead for HSF events.

Before joining the HSF team, Mr. Cervantes worked as an academic advisor for several California State Universities, providing high school students insights on the college going process, SAT-ACT preparation, resume building, and financial aid processes.

Mr. Cervantes has been recognized as a presidential list student numerous times and was highly involved with student organizations, while attaining his undergraduate degree.

Mr. Cervantes graduated with a B.A. in Sociology, double majoring in Chicano Latino-American Studies from Fresno State.

Born and raised in Central California, Mr. Cervantes is the eldest of two children. His family has a rich history in education starting with his parents, Santiago and Hortencia Cervantes, who have served as educators for more 30 years, where much of his passion in education stems from.
